Fair Usage Policy

Last updated: March 12, 2026

This Fair Usage Policy explains how RoguePlay applies Unlimited plan access in a way that remains fair to all players using the service.

Unlimited access is intended for personal, interactive gameplay. It is not intended for automated use, non-gaming workloads, session holding, or any behavior that degrades the experience for other players.

We do not expect every player to use the same number of hours. Heavy usage by itself is not automatically a violation. We only intervene when usage appears abusive, evasive, non-interactive, non-gaming, or harmful to service quality for others.

1. What Unlimited Means

The Unlimited plan is designed for a single customer using their own account for normal gameplay sessions across supported titles and devices.

  • You can play as often as you want for genuine personal gaming use.
  • You are not in breach of this policy simply because you play a lot.
  • We do not treat high engagement alone as abuse.
  • Unlimited access still operates within shared infrastructure that must remain available and stable for other players.

2. What Is Allowed

The following are generally allowed under the Unlimited plan:

  • Long personal gaming sessions.
  • Frequent play throughout the week.
  • Trying multiple games in the library during the same billing period.
  • Reasonable use of supported settings and features during normal gameplay.

3. What Is Not Allowed

The Unlimited plan may not be used in ways that are abusive, evasive, non-gaming, or designed to consume infrastructure without genuine play.

  • Using RoguePlay for non-game compute, remote workstation tasks, automation tasks, rendering, scripting, or any other non-gaming workload.
  • Using bots, macros, scripts, hardware devices, or software tools to simulate activity or keep a session alive when no one is actively playing.
  • Intentionally evading inactivity timeouts or idle protections.
  • Running near-continuous unattended sessions or repeatedly holding capacity without active play.
  • Sharing your account, reselling access, or allowing other people to use your Unlimited plan.
  • Attempting to stress, probe, overload, disrupt, or degrade RoguePlay systems or network capacity.
  • Using the service in a way that creates security risk, abuse risk, or material harm to the experience of other players.

4. Session Integrity

RoguePlay may use inactivity timeouts, session checks, and other safeguards to make sure shared capacity is being used for real gameplay.

You may not attempt to bypass or defeat those safeguards. Repeatedly creating artificial input, anti-idle behavior, or unattended session loops may be treated as abuse even if the account is otherwise in good standing.

5. Review and Enforcement

If we reasonably believe usage violates this Fair Usage Policy, we may review the account and take action to protect the service.

  • We may contact you to clarify unusual usage.
  • We may issue a warning if we believe the behavior can be corrected.
  • We may place temporary limits on access while we review or stop abusive behavior.
  • We may suspend or terminate access for repeated, severe, evasive, fraudulent, or malicious abuse.

We reserve the right to take immediate action without prior notice in cases involving security risks, intentional disruption, denial-of-service behavior, fraud, or other serious abuse.

6. Appeals

If you believe we restricted your usage in error, you may contact us and request a review. Please include the email address tied to your RoguePlay account and a short explanation of what happened.

We will review appeals in good faith, but we may still maintain restrictions where necessary to protect the service and other players.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Fair Usage Policy from time to time as the service evolves. If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy on this page and update the last-updated date above.
